Daylight Defender is a handcrafted skin balm made with Idaho-local beef tallow, non-nano zinc oxide, and a blend of thoughtfully chosen botanical ingredients to support your skin when you’re spending time outdoors.

Each ingredient serves a purpose—nothing extra, nothing synthetic:

• Beef Tallow (from locally raised Idaho cows): Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Tallow closely mimics the structure of our skin’s natural oils, helping to restore moisture and strengthen the skin barrier—especially useful in dry, sun-exposed conditions.

• Red Raspberry Seed Oil: Naturally high in antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Known for supporting the skin’s resilience, especially in sunlit environments, while keeping it nourished and soothed.

• Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: Provides a gentle physical barrier on the skin. While we make no SPF claims, zinc oxide is widely used for its reflective properties and ability to sit on the skin’s surface without absorption.

• Shea Butter: Adds creamy texture and additional barrier support. Helps calm sun-stressed skin and lock in moisture.

• Beeswax: Gives the balm its solid, mess-free form and helps it stay put in heat. Also acts as a natural occlusive to protect against environmental elements.

• Carrot Seed Essential Oil: Traditionally used to support skin health and balance; rich in antioxidants and beta-carotene.

• Lavender Essential Oil: Soothes and calms the skin, offering a gentle touch that’s beneficial after sun exposure.

This balm is easy to apply, non-greasy, and made without synthetic fragrances, fillers, or preservatives. It’s a great companion for hiking, gardening, market days, or just living life in the light.
